AI & Machine Learning in Theory and Practice

  • Foo Café 6A Stora Varvsgatan Malmö, Skåne län, 211 19 Sweden (map)

Welcome to an evening with 24HR and our two talks on AI and Machine Learning.

How to talk about AI at Parties

First Kristoffer will cover the basics of AI, Machine Learning, and Neural Networks. Why is the term AI losing relevance? How does a neural network work? What are the dangers and possibilities of machines made to mimic human thinking? This and more will be covered in an accessible, yet thorough, way. No prior knowledge required.

Using Open Source Machine Learning to do Sound Recognition

Then Camilo will walk you through a project from start to finish where he used TensorFlow.js to create a model that could hear the difference between two different kinds of coffee being made. What were the biggest challenges? How much data was needed and what kind of hardware was used? What can this be used for beyond listening to coffee? Camilo will go into more technical details and both speakers will be available for Q&A.
