Malmö Startups’ mission is to help build an inclusive and vibrant startup community in southern Sweden. We believe in paying it forward and helping each other; ideals which we live by and are committed to promoting.
We organise Skåne’s largest startup community event Startup Live!, arrange over 200 investor meetings per year - connecting regional startups to investors from around the world, and bring together hundreds of entrepreneurial women through our Women In Entrepreneurship community.
The next phase of Malmö Startups should have an even bigger impact, helping more people get closer to achieving their entrepreneurial dreams. We have a lot planned and we are now seeking people who are ready and willing to learn, work hard and be a part of our exciting journey & community. Investor Relations & Community Coordinator (50%)
As the Investor Relations & Community Coordinator, your key activities will be to:
Provide administrative support related to our investor relations and coordinate communications and scheduling with global venture capital firms visiting Malmö.
Maintain and continually update a database of global venture capital firms as well as startups in Skåne seeking investment.
Be a community builder; arranging startup events and building strong relationships across the startup community.
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for someone who is very committed to both learning and contributing to the broader startup community. You are someone who will bring your own creative flare and vision, and are confident in your abilities. You are also a doer who can take your own initiative as well as work within a set team and framework. You are highly organised and detail oriented, and find satisfaction in providing quality, professional administrative support.

When and Where:
This is a five-month contract working part-time (50%) from August 2018. We intend for the person in this role to become full-time (100%) and take on more responsibility from January 2019.
The majority of your time will be spent working from our office in Malmö, however, you will spend a few days every month working with our partners and the community in Helsingborg.
