Malmö Startups is looking for a Head of Recruitment to help match talent and startups

Our mission is to help build an inclusive and vibrant startup community in southern Sweden. We believe in paying it forward and helping each other; ideals which we live by and are committed to promoting.

So far, our main activities have been organising startup-related events, 40+ per year with the largest being Startup Live!, gathering almost 1000 people this past June, and connecting investors to startups, this year arranging over 60 such meetings to date.

Finding talent is one of the hardest and most important challenges for a startup and we now intend to add a recruitment arm to Malmö Startups.

That is why we need a Head of Recruitment to design, build and run an entirely new part of Malmö Startups, recruiting and matching talent to startups. You will become a key connector in Skåne's startup community and the go to person for entrepreneurs seeking the best talent.

This job will be a great opportunity for someone with:

  • 3-5 years experience of professional recruitment

  • An entrepreneurial mindset; you are a challenger who wants to build a better alternative to the status quo

  • Creative thinking about what does and does not work in the recruitment business today

The task is individual and demanding, set in an unstructured environment as a part of a small team of doers based at The Ground in central Malmö. It is a great job for someone wishing to:
